Appeal for witnesses following serious road traffic collision – Oxford

We are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Oxford. 

At around 11.25pm on Friday, officers received a report of a collision between a Volvo HGV and a blue BMW 120D at the junction of the A4074 and Grenoble Road, Sandford-on-Thames. 

Fire and Rescue also attended the scene. 

The driver of the BMW, a man in his twenties, sustained serious injuries and currently remains in hospital receiving treatment. 

No arrests have been made at this time. 

We are appealing for anyone with information, witnessed the incident or has CCTV footage who to please get in touch.   

We also ask any drivers who were in the area at the time to review their dashcam footage as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.
